Shut Up & Colour Pictures has been developing, producing and financing a suite of creative content, from award winning network TV shows to festival sweeping indie dramas. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the company consists of co-producers/co-founders Marc Tetreault and Jason Levangie.
S&C recently premiered Bretten Hannam's Indigenous supernatural thriller "PLACE OF GHOSTS", a Belgium/Canada co-production, distributed in Canada by VVS and sold internationally by MAGNIFY.
The company has also co-produced the past 2 seasons of the hit Canadian TV drama "SULLIVAN'S CROSSING" for CTV, and is working on several new titles, including post production on Holiday horror "BACK FOR THE HOLIDAYS" (Int. sales Blue Finch), the green-lit holiday mystery feature "ODDLY FLOWERS" from writer director Jordan Canning, and a number of other upcoming theatrical projects.
MARC TETREAULT
Producer / Co-Founder
Marc Tetreault is an independent producer and co-owner of Shut Up & Colour Pictures, a boutique production company in Halifax, NS, Canada. With over a decade of experience, he has produced several acclaimed films and TV shows that have gained international recognition.
In 2023 Marc was a participant in ACE 33, the prestigious European producer's network, where he's now an active member. Marc also sits on the boards of Screen Nova Scotia and the Canada Media Producer's Association, where he's the chair of the Sustainability and Climate Action Committee.
JASON LEVANGIE
Producer / Co-Founder
Jason Levangie is a Producer and Director based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. At S&C, Jason has produced 9 feature films, most recently the indigenous supernatural thriller "AT THE PLACE OF GHOSTS" by Bretten Hannam, a TIFF '25 platform selection and "Canada's Top 10" recipient.
Aside from leading the S&C development slate as a Creative Producer of feature films and TV, Jason has been a Music Video Director, a TV Cinematographer, an Animator and a Writer in Canada since 2004. He has a Bachelor of Media Arts from NSCAD University and is a lifetime member of the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative.
